Watching sunrise and sunset is quite a spectacle at Kanyakumari.

The sun very slowly emerges, as if, from the ocean and desends even more slowly back in the lap of the mighty ocean.

The tip of peninsula where India’s land ends is the meeting place of three oceans: the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean.

The confluence of these three places is also referred as “Thriveni Sangam.”
