Be Good and Do Good!
If you can dream it, you can do it, quipped Walt Disney.
Like most one-liners, this too seems to be only partially true.
The world is full of dreamers who seldom do much.
Likewise, we have people who do all sorts of stuff,
including that which should not be done in the first place (unwise rush in….)
The world needs dreamers who can do good!
For that, one must first know what is good.
We all innately know what is good for us.
To know what is good for others requires wisdom.
What you do for yourself will end with you.
What you do for others will live forever.
If you happen to be more fortunate, more blessed,
The universe anticipates greater contribution from you.
The Buddha taught for 45 years after he became awake to the truth of his own existence.
Till the very last minute of his mortal existence, he kept sharing the joy of his discovery.
When you dream to act for the good of others,
The whole universe conspires in making it a reality!
Be Good and do Good.
There is no higher goal.
This is a cosmic law–
Only the good can do good.
One can only give what one has.
Blessed are those who grow in goodness.
Their goodness nourishes the world,
Like water flowing hidden underground,
Secretly making the ground green!§
Fulfillment is a by-product.
It is not a buy-product.
It comes as a result of
~fulfilling others.
